About the opportunity:

Our team is made up of over 50 diverse professionals, spanning 14 nationalities and with a 45% female gender balance. The work of the practice is varied and spans across residential, educational, workplace, hospitality, and commercial office. We a highly organised practice with a dedicated Technical Director and BIM Manager and operate within ISO certified processes for all aspects of project design and execution, with BIM and digital data management under NSAI ISO19650 certification. About the Role:

We are seeking a well organised Project Planner to join our growing architectural practice in Dublin. This is a key role supporting the successful delivery of projects by planning and coordinating the resourcing of staff time on architectural projects from inception through to completion.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Construction and possess a strong understanding of technical design, project delivery, and resource planning. You will work closely with Directors, Project Architects, Architectural Technologists, and consultants to ensure projects are appropriately planned, resourced, and delivered efficiently.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining construction knowledge with project planning, organisation, and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Programming

• Develop technical delivery plans for architectural projects.
• Prepare and maintain project programmes and technical work schedules.
• Monitor project progress against programme and recommend adjustments where required.

Resource Planning

• Work with Directors and Team Leads to allocate architectural staff based on project needs, skills and capacity.
• Forecast future resource requirements across multiple live projects.
• Identify resource constraints and propose solutions to maintain project delivery.

Project Controls

• Track project progress against programme, budgets and technical deliverables.
• Produce regular project planning and resource reports.
• Assist with project risk identification and mitigation.
• Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

Skills Required for this role:

• Degree in Construction related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience within an architectural practice.
• Understanding of the RIAI Work Stages and project delivery process.
• Experience planning architectural project workloads.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project (or equivalent planning software).

Desirable:

• Experience working within Rapport resource software
• Knowledge of project management methodologies
• Experience using project management software
