Winner - Building of the Year Award 2017

We are delighted to announce that our Elizabeth’s Tree House building for the Barretstown Gang Camp won the overall category award for ‘Building of the Year’ at the Building and Architect of the Year Awards 2017. The building also won in its own leisure category at the same awards with a prestigious jury line up.

Winner - Leisure Building of the Year Award 2017

Barretstown Camp is part of the Serious Fun Children’s Network founded by Paul Newman to provide therapeutic and respite care for children whose lives and their families have been affected by live changing illnesses. Barretstown organise camps to help rebuild confidence in a natural fun environment.

Joint Winner - Best Universal Design - Irish Architecture Awards 2017

Elizabeth’s Tree House has been announced as joint winner of the Best Universal Design category at the RIAI Architecture Awards 2017. 

Elizabeth’s Tree House was also shortlisted for the Public Choice Award and and was Commended under the Cultural/Public/Community Buildings category.

Winner - Industrial Fit Out Project of the Year, Fit Out Awards 2013

Hanover Medical is a fit-out for a new general practice located in the Dublin Docklands. The brief demanded the insertion of a mezzanine floor hung from the slab above. The design concept evolved around enveloping the suspended mezzanine level rooms in a brightly coloured form.

Winner - Fit Out Supplier Partnership, 2013

Through partnership with photographer, Enda Cavanagh, McCauley Daye O'Connell won the Fit Out Supplier Partnership Category as part of the AllianzBusiness to Arts Awards.
