The next-generation RCSI School of Pharmacy & Biomolecular Sciences teaching labs, marks a major milestone in health sciences education in Ireland - a significant addition to their city-centre campus and a major step forward in medical education and research.

Designed to support integrated, technology-enhanced learning, the new facility brings together state-of-the-art teaching labs, high-spec surgical and anatomy spaces, and collaborative environments that reflect the interdisciplinary future of healthcare training.

This strategic redevelopment has increased the school’s laboratory teaching capacity by 60%, providing a world-class learning environment for up to 140 students, up from 89. 

The upgrade also includes the opening of the Kiran Pathak Patient-Centred Care Laboratory, an innovative 88-student space designed to simulate real-world clinical interactions and nurture both technical and interpersonal skills among students.
