MDO Architects are deeply saddened by the invasion of Ukraine and the violent aggression of the Russian government. As a community of many different nationalities, we believe in Ukraine’s right to sovereignty and strongly condemn these inhumane actions as they are against every value we hold as a practice.
The provision of secure, comfortable and healthy environments for all stands as a core value of our profession and any war profoundly devalues these by impacting the safety, well being and dignity of our fellow humans, exposing communities to horrific and long lasting effects.
To demonstrate our support for the people of Ukraine the practice has ensured that resources have been set aside to contribute towards the humanitarian needs of those affected.
Our sincere hope is that peace will quickly prevail.
