We are honoured to see Barretstown Medical Centre recognised among so many outstanding projects at the 2026 Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) Architecture Awards.

This recognition reflects the dedication of a talented and collaborative project team and, above all, the privilege of supporting the important work that Barretstown does every day to make a real difference in the lives of children and families.

Our Associate Director Wayne Holmes had the privilege of accepting the award on behalf of everyone at MDO Architects.

Presented by the RIAI, the award places the Medical Centre among the most significant works of Irish architecture completed this year. We are grateful to the RIAI for their continued commitment to celebrating excellence in the profession.
