The refurbishment of Carton House’s conference and events spaces focused on merging modern needs with a sense of history. The result is a rich blend of colour, fabrics, artwork, and furnishings.

 

The hotel’s 300-seat ballroom has been extensively refurbished, along with the associated pre-function and bar area, first floor meeting rooms, and boardroom.
A vibrant colour palette on walls and floors takes inspiration from the historic blue and gold Chinese Boudoir at Carton House, while a custom-designed carpet is inspired by floral motifs found on 18th century blue and white Delft tiles in the hotel’s Ornamental Dairy.
