MDO have completed a new Irish headquarters for Royal Bank of Canada Treasury & Investor Services. This fit-out of 16,000sqft for 140 staff consists of open plan layout with associated boardrooms, meeting rooms, phone booths, canteen, tea stations, staff showers, comms and project rooms as well as refurbishing the landlord toilet areas. Works included a full architectural design services to RIAI stages 1-8.
MDO developed a manifestation design based on RBC’s global charity Blue Water Project which is a 10-year global charitable commitment of $50 million to help provide access to drinkable, swimmable, fishable water, now and for future generations. This manifestation design is now being used as a brand standard across other RBC offices along with other key elements of the MDO design.
Working with JLL as project manager, Axis engineering for M&E, BuildCost for cost control and fitout contractor T&I Interiors, the project was completed on time, within a very tight programme, and has been highly commended by RBC’s Director of Portfolio Strategy, the Irish Managing Director and the staff.
"I have been involved in a number of real estate initiatives for RBC in Dublin, but I must say that this one has represented the very pinnacle of excellence and I would like to thank you all for your efforts. I have taken very much a back seat, and an exceptional team have delivered something which I hope they are proud of and the Dublin business will enjoy for many years to come."
